01
Storage in one paragraph
offravia keeps browser storage to a short list. A cookie, or its local-storage cousin, is a tiny note your device holds on our behalf between visits.
02
The three categories
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Holds the answer you gave our consent bar | offravia_consent_v1 (local storage, up to 12 months) | Always on |
| Analytics | Tallies, never named, of which offravia sections draw readers | Analytics provider identifiers, if enabled | Off |
| Advertising / affiliate | Ties a hotel booking back to the offravia click behind it | Partner network referral identifiers | Off; stays off with GPC |
03
Changing your choice
Every offravia page carries a Manage cookies control at its foot; pressing it brings the toggles back so you can revise them. Wiping offravia's stored data from your browser resets the question too. A Global Privacy Control header keeps the advertising/affiliate group switched off no matter which toggle you touch.

Third-party sites
Once you land on a resort's website, that resort decides what it stores, under whatever policy it publishes.
